All:
When the sun comes up each day I wonder what things are to be
And I ask myself if I am to succeed
So I look for answers here and then I look for answers there
‘Till I realize the answer’s in me.
If I’m stuck on some equation of mathematical degree
And at first it seems to make sense, not one bit.
So I ask for help but still I feel I’m in a foreign land
Till I reason it myself and make it fit.
Believe, believe, believe in you
You’ll see things work out mostly for the best.
Believe, believe , believe in you
You’ll find faith in yourself that meets the test.
When the sun comes up each day I wonder what things are to be
And I ask myself if I am to succeed
So I look for answers here and then I look for answers there
‘Till I realize the answer’s in me.
Believe, believe, believe in you
You’ll see things work out mostly for the best.
Believe, believe , believe in you
You’ll find faith in yourself that meets the test

Thank you for registering for our youth workshop production of Middle School Musical. We’re looking forward to sharing an enjoyable and beneficial experience.
The workshop style auditions will consist of the following:
-A group ice-breaker/theatre game or two
-A vocal segment-
- we will teach a short section of one of the songs from the show (Believe) You can listen to an archived version of it below. Auditioners will learn and practice this as a group. Then they will have the option of singing it in a small group or by themselves.
-As an additional option, auditioners may choose to sing a prepared 16 bar selection of their own choice. For this, auditioners would need to provide their own accompaniment….preferably from a phone (theirs or their parent’s) or they may simply sing the selection a cappella. This component would be optional …. not required.
- Some light movement/dance exercises may also be facilitated.
- Those enrollees interested auditioning for a principal (main) role in Middle School Musical will be asked to present a brief monologue. A selection of show monologues can be found here. The monologue may be either read or memorized. Printed copies of these monologues will be available at the audition.
